CLC block in Pakistan is being manufacture currently by Banu Mukhtar. In todays date current price of block is in the range of 190Rs/block – 225Rs/block and is available in three different sizes as told in our previous blog. Since CLC block is non load bearing product, to use this block the house needs to be constructed as frame structure where the load is on all columns and beams. In our previous costing videos, all our costings are based on brick structure houses. Frame structure construction is expensive as compared to brick structure due to more requirement of steel, concrete and formwork.

For estimated costs, sample houses considered are:

10 Marla with basement:

Basement 1000 sqft (Maximum possible)

Ground floor+first floor+rooftop mumtee 3400 sqft

Total 4400 sqft

10 Marla without basement:

Ground floor+first floor+rooftop mumtee

Total 3400 sqft

1 Kanal with basement:

Basement 2700 sqft (Maximum possible)

Ground floor+first floor+rooftop mumtee 5400 sqft

Total 8100 sqft

1 Kanal without basement:

Ground floor+first floor+rooftop mumtee

Total 5400 sqft

Incase if you want to use CLC block method for house construction, it is recommended that you complete the frame only first of the house, then at second stage block work can be carried out followed by plasters and then completing grey structure as shown in pictures below. CLC blocks doesn’t require curing before or after masonry as in the case of bricks where heavy curing is required.  CLC blocks house construction cost
