Quantities are averaged from completed grey-structure projects. With a basement, the per-sq-ft figures switch to Team Overc’s houses that have basements (more concrete and steel, roughly 3 kg per sq ft, fewer bricks) and the basement area is added to the total. The take-off above follows the covered and basement areas set in the estimator and covers bricks, cement, sand, crush and steel. Other materials and labour follow below.
